We won
I was very disappointed to see the stories that the U.S. hockey team allegedly lost to Canada. We can only hope that Vice President Vance will have the courage to do the right thing and overturn our soon-to-be 51st-state’s triumph.
Bubble bursting
California’s population is 39.4 million, largest in the country. Six million of that number is growth since 2000, driven almost entirely by its sanctuary status and federal immigration policies by Democrats, particularly under President Biden, which enticed large flows of legal and illegal migration to the state. However, since 2020, California citizens have been leaving in large numbers because of overdevelopment, congestion, rising costs of living and reduced quality of life. There is a natural limit to how much a state or the United States can intake in unrestricted flows of people who aren’t citizens and don’t pay taxes that provide support to residency.
Time and place
I love all my children and grandchildren, but I think it is inappropriate for Elon Musk to tote his son around on his shoulders in the Oval Office. He may want to expose him to greater things, but enroll him in a fancy school or hire an entire staff to educate him.
Bad timing
Firing IRS workers during tax season does not seem like a good idea.
Ridiculous
Now President Trump wants to fire 6,000 IRS employees during tax season? Are you serious? Are those who voted for him going to take care of everyone’s taxes now? He said Ukraine started the war but it was Russia? He’s nuts and is out of his league. He’s destroying our country like he did in his last term. Wise up.
Mental decline
President Trump just finished a post with “long live the king.” Remember when President Biden finished a speech with “long live the Queen,” and people started saying he was in mental decline. Maybe Trump is just referring to President Musk.
Remember?
I’m old enough to remember when the Republicans were big mad over President Biden’s many trips to Delaware. Their silence, though, is deafening over President Trump’s near-daily trips to the golf course.
