We’re No. 1
Finally a No. 1 ranking. Mississippi is rated No. 1 in highest percentage of household income going to groceries. Another reason to celebrate Mississippi politicians’ great work for the people.
Gulf of America
The Gulf of Mexico is an old established name I’m used to, but Gulf of America represents the whole continent, from the northern border of Canada to the southern tip of South America. That actually makes the change more appropriate.
DOGE
Kudos to President Trump and Elon Musk for going above and beyond to eliminate dedicated public employees so that money can be spent on the truly important things: Like the president going to the Super Bowl (for one half) and the Daytona 500.
Vice presidents
After watching the speech given last week in Munich by JD Vance, I couldn’t help but compare him with the previous Vice President and the huge contrast in their public speaking abilities.
Now we’re worried?
I’m amazed at how Democrats are freaking out over President Trump trying to save taxpayer dollars. They’re claiming security is at risk, but it didn’t seem to bother them when the border was wide open.
Too cold
The Biloxi Natatorium is a wonderful facility. It services many competitive swim meets plus lessons for first graders. It also provides for many recreational swimmers and exercisers. I write because the water is often too cold to enjoy. And it’s dangerous. Cold water raises blood pressure and can trigger episodes of atrial fibrillation. This flaw in an otherwise wonderful facility has been going on for years. Dear Biloxi, please fix it.
Job losses
One has to wonder how all those federal employees losing those great jobs now feel about the person they supported who did that to them.
