Government spending
I wholeheartedly support the idea of eliminating wasteful government spending. Perhaps we can start with the $20 million that was spent to send President Trump and Ivanka Trump to the Super Bowl, where they stayed for all of one half.
It works in politics
Why don’t the Chiefs just say they won by a landslide?
One anthem
There is no such thing as a “Black National Anthem,” and I was offended at the Super Bowl pregame performance of it. We have one national anthem for America and the continued agitation for divisiveness and separating all of us by race, color, creed has got to stop.
Not a fan
The Super Bowl halftime show with Kendrick Lamar was terrible. Super-fast rapping may demonstrate speech and tongue dexterity but it isn’t singing or music. It was mostly unintelligible to the majority of viewers, even with subtitles on. It wasn’t entertaining and I switched it off.
Too far
The newly elected president is now pulling security clearances from federal employees and those who didn’t support him. His DOGE group is violating the constitution daily and Elon Musk has replaced Congress, requiring federal jJudges to stop him. This is not government reform, it’s another dangerous billionaire power grab.
Those prices
Some of us are old enough to remember the Golden Deceiver’s broken promises of lowering gas and grocery prices, but I doubt President Musk’s kid brigade does.
No vino
I was just at the grocery store and noticed an eight pack of canned Vodka Cocktails for $20, but no wine. Come on, Mississippi lawmakers and do what the taxpayers desire. The state would make more money.
Enough, already
Is there anyone in government handling the endless number of robocalls? I am getting 10 a day, Medicare Insurance, loan forgiveness, false agencies for donations, the list goes on an on.
Greatness
I don’t want to own the Gaza Strip. I don’t want to build a resort there all in the name of the United States of America, while at the same time denying aid to starving people all in the name of U.S. greatness and Christianity.
Fetterman’s thoughts
Sen Fetterman is right: The Democratic party is toxic and out of touch with the regular people. They live in a bubble, about 20 cities that never see change because of self-serving attitudes.
How about some help?
Elon Musk is ransacking the government and his lapdog is out chasing golf balls, all while the price of groceries, gas, and insurance premiums continue to skyrocket.
Audit
How can any reasonable U.S. citizen disagree with audits of the governmental expenditures, especially when there seems to be no accountability. We taxpayers should welcome independent audits of rogue bureaucratic agencies that spend our hard-earned tax monies with total impunity and disregard for our national interest.
