Immigration
President Trump’s move to send illegal immigrants back to where they came from is long overdue. Perhaps if the President Biden had cared about the issue, the Democrats wouldn’t have gotten so soundly routed in November.
More common sense
Seems common sense would tell you that a simple policy of “non-discrimination” would be much more effective than DEI, that does actually discriminate. DEI is reverse discrimination while non-discrimination applies to all races, sexes, sexual orientation, or national origin.
DEI
In all seriousness, can’t we agree that there are some jobs that are so important that there should be no DEI component? For example, flipping burgers? Sure, have all the DEI you want. But for things like air-traffic controllers, shouldn’t we all want only the absolute best and brightest? And if those are all Black or White or whatever, so be it?
No surprise
It wouldn’t be surprising if the Canada, Mexico and China tariffs aren’t an insider ploy for stock market to dive, and then investors, with inside timing knowledge, exploit when President Trump suddenly lifts them.
Is anyone home?
Is anybody in Congress or the Senate paying attention to what is going on? Most of the Republican members seem to have relinquished their duties in deference to President Trump, and they are ignoring the fact Elon Musk and his cronies (none of whom were elected by anybody) have essentially taken over OPM and are trying to fire the entire federal workforce.
Help, please
I have a question/suggestion for smart phone manufacturers. If they can put all this complicated technology into these expensive devices, why can’t they write an instruction manual that tells you how to use it? My phone is two years old and I’m still finding (usually by accident) stuff I didn’t know was there.
ATCs
I keep reading about the shortage of air-traffic controllers, especially the short staff on duty at the time of the recent tragedy in D.C. The average yearly salary of an ATC is $60,900. That seems inadequate to attract additional candidates to the profession and way short of compensation for such a skilled and stressful profession. I bet doubling the current salary would solve the shortage problem.
Biloxi election
If FoFo is going to seek re-election for mayor of Biloxi, then I’m voting for whoever is running against him. We need a mayor who cares about Biloxi, its citizens and natural resources (live oak trees). All FoFo cares about are tourists and money.
Not so good
President Trump’s enforcing of immigration laws already on the books is very welcome. However, his attempts to replace federal civil service workers with his loyalists is corrupt.

Suffering
President Trump says we will have to suffer some before his tariff tactics start working. Many of you will accept this as patriotic, suffering for the cause.
