Let’s get with the important stuff. The news was filled with President Trump tariff stuff and really buried what was important. I had to really dig around to find out if the groundhog saw his shadow.

I guess I better stock my liquor cart today before tariffs increase.

Trump’s choices

If the Democratic senators feel President Trump’s Cabinet nominees are so inadequate and untrustworthy, why don’t they prove their convictions and vote for them to prove what a disaster they will be? The Biden cabinet was a disaster and you see what happened in the November elections. At least give Trump a chance. It’s only been 11 days and a lot of pre-election promises are coming to fruition. The future is definitely brighter under the direction of an active and engaged president with a majority of U.S. citizens’ obvious support.

California

It’s plain to see that California has made President Trump’s list of things that must be blamed, scolded and brought to its knees. I mean, how dare they vote against God’s greatest gift to mankind? His hatred of Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsome has morphed into his attempted takeover of their water systems, which do not need his expert “help.” Meanwhile my gas and groceries are still going up and up and up, Mr. Fixit.

Immigration

Several South Mississippi jobs sites were shut down due to the fear of ICE raids. Some have posted lookouts for ICE. If you’re here illegally, my suggestion is to go home on your own.

What’s next?

I hope there are plans to increase legal immigration now that the new administration’s policies appear to be working. We need new immigrants and a way to legalize many of the hard working law abiding immigrants that are currently in this country.

Airport

How many air traffic controllers does our airport have every day? Hope they are 200% qualified.
