Delusional

Regarding Elon Musk’s salute, y’all are seeing what you want to see. He was saluting from his heart; watch the unedited video. He’s a little spastic but he is sending his heart out to those who agreed with him and voted in President Trump.

Erasing history

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) can go too far as it has over years and needed change. However, President Trump’s response has gone to radical extreme. He has directed the removal of mention of the Tuskegee Airmen’s role in WWII at Air Force Basic Training history classes. That’s not DEI. There’s a name for it.

So weird

I can’t imagine or fathom the weirdness of loving McDonald’s so much, your wife actually dresses like the Hamburglar for you.

Eliminating FEMA

I’m sure California and other blue states would welcome the elimination of FEMA, considering how the poor, red states take the surplus dollars that the blue states pay into the federal government. If it wasn’t for the federal dollars that states like California pay into the system, the whining red states couldn’t pave a sidewalk.

Cabinet

I believe that any president should be able to have his Cabinet of choice. Kudos to the Senate for agreeing.

Can we please have a separate Sound Off for comments on political issues?

Common sense

Where is the “Common Sense” in eliminating the state income tax for senior citizens who live on annuity that is not taxed and increase gasoline and sales tax? Senior citizens and low income citizens will be be impacted while high income citizens will be gifted with extra money. That does not pass the common sense test. Governor and legislators, rethink what you are doing. How about reducing or getting rid of sales tax on groceries if you really want to do something for Mississippians.
