He’s back

President Donald J. Trump is real. He never crumbled, never had any doubt and never quit. They tried to break him, tried to jail him and tried to kill him twice. Now he’s president again.

Did my vote count?

I voted for Donald Trump, not Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos or any of these other millionaires.

Who pays?

If tariffs on products exported here are increased, who do you gets this money? This revenue is supposed to pay for the tax cuts for the rich. But since we consumers will pay more for the products , will there be rebates for us or decreased pricing?

Male. Female.

It’s really not that complicated. There are individuals who are born as men. There are individuals who are born as women. That’s what they are. Period.

Pardons

Well, we have a new man in the White House. I found it interesting that President Biden gave pardons to five members of the Biden family back to 2014 as well as all members of the Jan. 6 committee. My only question is why would all of these individuals on the committee and the five members of his family need to be pardoned especially since none of them have been charged with any kind of crime?

Man of action

There are misguided, brainwashed people in this country who cannot grasp that former President Biden did nothing to facilitate the Israeli hostages repatriation. President Trump, before his swearing in, told Hamas to return them before his swearing in or there would be hell to pay and it capitulated and signed an agreement with Israel. And Israel doesn’t have to wonder on any given day about the level of support from America. Biden dithered, wobbled and wondered about every day until someone on his staff shoved something to sign in front of front of him. Trump is a man of action and results.

Income tax

Mississippi is the biggest ‘taker’ of U.S. federal tax monies.. The vehicle the state has to keep this state afloat is income taxes. Gov. Reeves now wants to end that, because we have billions in the state’s coffers (all designated for infrastructure, teacher pay and PERS and others, and all received during the Biden Administration). This in no way gets us up from 50th in every fiscal metric. We will never be able to have enough state income.

Missing Joe

President Biden’s presidency concluded today. His final week has been nothing short of historic: 2,500 commutations and a ceasefire deal between Israel and Gaza mark the end of his consequential term. He has been a wonderful president for all Americans, not just the rich. I will miss being able to awaken every morning knowing that an experienced and knowledgeable patriotic president is in charge.

Biden’s pardons

What a flurry of pardons on President Biden’s last day. That’s the most work he has done in four years. The beneficiaries include Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi. His generosity is a fitting end to his sad legacy. Seems all the unindicted actors are saying the same thing: “I did nothing wrong.” That is like Charles Manson saying, “It wasn’t me.”

Don’t understand

Can one of you Trump followers explain to me why he pardoned rioters who attacked police? And how are they hostages?

Congratulations

Hooray for the inauguration of President Trump. I loved his inaugural address and signing a ton of executive orders heading toward legislative action to make those initiatives permanent.

Mount Denali

I might have voted for him because of terrible alternative, but what a waste of time and ink to rename Denali (and the Gulf). Do you realize President McKinley never stepped foot in Alaska? Please spend your energy with issues which will improve this country, not divide it.
