DEI hires

The consequence of DEI hires is not as noticeable until a real emergency happens that require skill and experience to deal with it. Our government and many businesses has a DEI policy that does not bode well for our country. Case in point Los Angeles. People are now suffering from such a WOK policy. When will people wake up to what is dragging America down. The same policy is severely affecting our military readiness to “fight and win America’s wars.” An emergency situation is not the time for on the job training.

Don’t look up

For the person wanting a dose of global warming: Scientific American just released the data. 2024 was the hottest year since recording of world temperatures began, at 1.5° C above the pre-industrial average temperature. That basically means severe weather in each season has the potential to be a little more severe and ocean levels will rise a little faster.

Firefighting

$17 million was cut from the Los Angeles Fire Department’s budget last year. No electricity for pumps to support the fire department’s responding. The results are appalling.

Trump pick

In a DEI moment, Donald Trump appointed Amy Comey Barrett to the Supreme Court, believing that she was a female conservative, when there is no such thing.

Help her

It was heartbreaking to hear that Linda Favre’s home was severely damaged by a fire and now she herself desperately needs help. For those who never heard of her, years ago she organized Shepherds of the Gulf and has helped the Homeless for many years and continues to do so even while she is facing an extremely tough time herself. Linda goes deep into the woods to bring supplies and food to the homeless. I pray that our community will come together now to help this woman who truly deserves some help.

Toddler-in-Chief

Donald Trump is like a kid in the toy aisle at Walmart who has a hissy fit when his parents say “no.” He decided he wants Greenland and won’t rule out military force to get it. We had the chance to avoid this insanity, but no, he promised to lower our grocery prices, so that’s all that matters, right?

More government

We need to seriously rethink how how taxpayers’ money is spent on health care and national disasters.
