Well done

While the internet screams about how awful it was that former president Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump shared a friendly moment at President Carter’s funeral, I wonder why. I salute each of them for being civil and reverent in a place and time that called for it.

If I were anyone in President Jimmy Carter’s family, I would have Donald Trump banned from the funeral. Having to look at his two-faced fake reverence would be just too much to deal with and a slap in the face to someone who served our country, whether you agreed with his politics or not. Trump will look at it as a photo op, and that’s all.

Efficiency

As a licensed plumber and someone with a little common sense, I can tell you that there’s nothing on the table more efficient than a gas tankless water heater.

Respect

The Reagan 80/20 factor is now in play. The Democrats will try to rule from their ivory towers and fail. The incoming administration is going to make the world respect America again.

So true

In yesterday’s Law and Order Sound Off, the writer stated one sentence that really resonated with me: “I guess some of us just have a different idea of what justice is.” I would say that is one sentence that every voter will agree with, whether Democrat or Republican.

Priorities

Trump is asking for his court cases to go away, change the name of the Gulf, buy Greenland, take back the Panama Canal, eliminate daylight savings time. I don’t remember any of these being campaign promises.

Fear

Am I the only one that notices that when Donald Trump is on Capitol Hill talking to reporters, the surrounding Republicans looks like children that have been chastised. They either look at the floor or they stare into some lost land. Fear on that side of the aisle is real.
