Biden’s restrictions

President Biden, in his last gasps, imposed restrictions on energy exploration. A great example of what a petty and childish man he and the Democrats are.

How those of us who did not vote for Donald Trump behaved after today’s certification says it all. We love our country, not party or individual. The Constitution is what defines us, much like the Ten Commandments does for Christians. Pardoning the jailed rioters is not the way to heal the country. They broke the law.

Burn bans

I think the person who agrees with California banning agricultural burning is implying that forestry burning should be banned also — since we don’t have much of any agricultural burning in this area. (Pushing it into a pile and letting it rot doesn’t use any fossil fuels? What is used to push it into a pile?) The forestry prescribed burning in our area reduces smoke emissions from what would occur in a wildfire. This practice reduces fuels and when there is a wildfire, makes is easier to contain. How many homes do we lose around here from wildfires, compared with California? Fire is a natural part of the ecosystem. It will burn sooner or later. We can burn now, with all the tools and equipment on hand to keep it under control. Or respond as soon as we can with what we have to a wildfire. Your choice.

Not worth the risk

President Biden is blocking all future ocean drilling because it will destroy coastal living. Come on — even the hardest skeptic should want this especially if you live near the ocean. Our seafood has been affected by oil spills enough already.

Presidential debt

Yes, President Trump added $7.8 trillion to the national debt in the four years he was in office., Just remember, from September 2019 to September 2020, Trump spent $3.6 trillion on coronavirus pandemic relief. Now let’s look at President Biden’s share of the debt. In the first three years he has been in office he added nearly $4 trillion and the numbers are not finalized yet but it looks like his share of the debt when he leaves office will be between $7 and $10 trillion dollars! To give credit where credit is due, look at President Obama. In the eight years he was in office, he only added $8.4 trillion to the debt. But, what happened in his terms that were costly? Nothing. So, when trying to make someone look bad, compare apples to apples.

Raw food

We veterinarians have been telling pet owners for years, “If the federal government cannot guarantee the safety of the human food line, what makes you think that raw pet food is safe?“ Now, a California man is suing because bird flu in raw milk killed his cats. He should have known better.

Laughable

The “Criminal in Chief“ is going to put teeth in our laws? He, himself, is being sentenced, again soon.
