President Carter
President Carter was a classy gentleman and a true Christian — the exact opposite of Donald Trump. Aon that note, I hope God doesn’t punish America for electing him president.
RIP
Rest in peace, President Carter. He was a Democrat and I am a Republican, but I liked him because he practiced what he preached, living a modest lifestyle. I would always see him and his wife building homes for Habitat for Humanity until they physically could not do it anymore, and attending church every Sunday. Unlike other presidents who went in poor, to get out and become wealthy somehow. My mom would always say that money can’t buy class. President Carter, you had more class than any president in my lifetime.
America first?
I would like to know how Donald Trump’s supporters feel about Elon Musk convincing Trump to allow immigrants to come here on a special visa to fill-in our workforce. Musk says we need smarter foreign people to help run companies because we don’t have enough smart people here to do that job.
Name that bird
Starting around Christmas, has anyone else seen a hummingbird in the Holly Hills subdivision? I have not been able to identify it. I am hoping someone else has.
Wrong target
To the man, and I’d bet my salary on it, who objects to the man begging for money at the exit, we have bigger and more professional beggars to worry about. Corporations con us out of money just for profit. CEOs and elected officials commit fraud and embezzlement all the time. And you are annoyed by one guy on the side of the road with a sign?
Priorities
Drug dealers from Mexico are testing fentanyl on dogs. Now, we may get some action because Americans love their animals more than people. After all, they are family, right?
Trump and Musk
I predict Donald Trump’s bromance with Elon Musk will end sooner or later when Musk dares to differ on some issue, which we know is not allowed in Trumpworld. These two giant egos are too much for both to survive.
