Drones

Drones and guns are both popular items that can be easily purchased in the United States. Drones do have the potential to be deadly, but just like guns, we will eventually grow numb to their public displays and possible devastation. The hoopla over drones only makes people want to buy them. I would be more worried about that elf in your house right now.

We were warned

As Dick Cheney said “There has never been a greater individual threat to our Republic than Donald Trump.”

Health

Diet and exercise are positives. Folks need to learn how to cook from scratch and avoid processed foods. Being lazy is our problem.

Elites

According to Vocabulary.com, “The idea that a small select group of people should get their way is called elitism. Rich politicians and academics are sometimes accused of elitism.” Curiously, our new president-elect’s party accuses Democrats of being elites. Trump has appointed the wealthiest group ever to be his cabinet and the wealthiest man in the world to be his advisor. Republicans are and have been the party of Big Business.

Make it make sense

Donald Trump is demanding that Congress get rid of or extend the debt ceiling. I thought Republicans were fiscal conservatives. And why doesn’t he do it himself when he takes office? He wants President Biden to be blamed for bankrupting the country.

Count the times

How many times has a Republican-led Congress almost shut down the government? Funding the annual budget has been a no-brainer for decades. We owe debt on all the money Congress has spent. And why is Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, controlling taxpayers money?

Equal rights

President Trump says he will protect women. I assume that will include pushing for the passage of the Equal Rights Amendment.
