No excuse

Video shows NYPD officers “racing“ to Pennsylvania after their murder suspect’s capture was announced. Why? The suspect is in jail. He’s not going anywhere. Why put innocent New York and Pennsylvania travelers in jeopardy?

Parties a problem

Wouldn’t it be nice if all politicians were independent agents and quit strictly following party lines like they are required to do? I know there are Democrats who are pro-life and Republicans who favor a ban on assault weapons. Neither party should dictate what a politician has to pretend to believe in. It just serves to further divide us.

Not ‘manufactured’

A manufactured attempt to cash in on a lawsuit? Do the defense lawyers for the two main defendants in the seafood cases have access to Google, or are they educated enough to understand what it says? I don’t think the civil case against the defendants has to be manufactured. They committed fraud and pled guilty to it.

Good job

Unlike the media and Democrats, I like the fact that Donald Trump is placing people other than lifelong bureaucrats in his Cabinet.

Terrible choice

All politics aside, the present global crisis is too unstable to have a Secretary of Defense who is not in control of his behavior.

Supporting Hegseth

I hope everyone realizes that Pete Hegseth’s fiercest critics have never served in the military.

A bad look

I don’t know if Mr. Penny was rightly or wrongly acquitted in the subway killing in New York City, because I was not at the trial, but I do know this: celebrating at a bar after the verdict while grinning from ear to ear is disgusting, low down and is tantamount to giving an obscene hand gesture to the family of the victim.
