Garbage

If people are concerned about Climate Change, in my opinion, they should be more concerned about the amount of garbage and waste we produce every single day. Where does all this waste go and how long can it keep being disposed of in a healthy and environmentally friendly manner. We finally will run out of reasonable land fields and disposal systems.

Hegseth unqualified

A Sound Off writer thinks liberals are afraid of Pete Hegseth. Any liberal, conservative or independent with half a brain is. This guy is no more qualified to run the Department of Defense than Mickey Mouse. If he can’t properly manage the finances of two different organizations with a budget of less than $20 million, he is in way over his head. Add to that his questionable character, and you have a disaster in the making. I’m not a liberal, but yes, I fear him. But on the bright side, he looks good on camera.

Mo’ money

Melania Trump is selling Christmas ornaments. They should just open a retail store near the White House and capitalize on its location like Donald Trump’s hotels did, charging dignitaries and the Secret Service.

Pickleball?

Gulfport High has brand new tennis courts that are rarely used. Why not convert a couple into pickleball courts?

But, but, but ...

I knew it wouldn’t take long after President Biden’s pardon of his son for the “what abouts” to start. That’s been the case for years when there has been any criticism of the current administration: deflect, deflect, deflect.

Crystal ball?

The president-elect is not even in office yet and the left, liberals, democrats, socialists, etc., have already accused him of dictatorship and worse. What all-seeing-eyes are they looking with? I don’t know about anyone else, but my family was better off when he was president and I expect it to be better off when he is president again.

Local shrimp

After years of complaining about BP-tainted seafood and the Bonnet Carre spillway wiping out the local seafood industry, I didn’t think we had local seafood anymore.
