Nothing new

College football has always been a business. Now the players are getting a share of the money. And don’t tell me that they got an education, because they had to practice and perform. Not to mention the injuries.

Give it up

I wish you liberals would quit your wining about Donald Trump. Y’all had your chance and failed miserably.

Y’all were right

I now agree with the Trump supporters who have been screaming for years that our elections are fraudulent. How else could a felon be elected president?

So much complaining

If there were as many people who voted for Vice President Harris as there are complaining in Sound Off, maybe she wouldn’t have gotten blown out by Donald Trump.

Thankful

I’m very thankful this Thanksgiving holiday that the good citizens of this country finally came to their senses.

If I had enough money and wanted a good Federal job it looks like I could just buy one now.

Economics 101

The president-elect must have skipped, or forgot, his basic economics classes. There are repercussions with tariffs, especially when the U.S. manufactures so few of its consumed products. Now, add to this Donald Trump’s plan to extract immigrants, whose cheap labor gives businesses record profits (and cheaper costs for you) and you have a recipe for economic disaster for average American families. Corporations will pass these costs directly to you. Of course he will blame Democrats, or one of his appointed Cabinet members that opposed him (remember how he fired many of his expert Cabinet members in his first presidency).

Donald Trump wants to cut or eliminate Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid because he thinks of no one except himself. Do you working people really think he is going to take care of you? He is now relying on Elon Musk, the richest man on Earth, to help him make policy. If Trump really wanted to help working people, he would have asked Bernie Sanders to help him.

Getting educated

Thanks to Donald Trump for making me learn more about how government works than I ever wanted to. Recess appointments were designed for an emergency when congress was out for weeks or even months, not for an obstinate president to bypass the checks and balances and force his political agenda on the public when his appointees are of questionable qualifications. If there is a loophole, you will always find Trump knee-deep in it.

Yes for PRESS

If Republicans are truly the party of less government, they should ignore Donald Trump and pass the bill that limits government intrusion into investigations of the press which goes by the acronym, PRESS. He is not king.

Cronyism

Donald Trump will tap Linda McMahon to lead the Department of Education. McMahon, a former professional wrestling executive, is a longtime Trump donor and was co-chair of his transition team. being qualified has nothing to do with his appointments. Now this is DEI for real.
