Not just the GOP

A recent sound off stated the Mississippi legislature has been controlled by Republicans for decades. Research shows that in 2012, for the first time since reconstruction, Republicans took control of the state Legislature. Whatever issues Mississippi has cannot be blamed solely on Republicans.

We had a choice

Whether folks like it or not, there was a clear choice between Republican and Democrat, between conservative and liberal and between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. America made its choice. Popular vote. Electoral vote. It was all the same.

Be patient

Monday morning, I was honked at by a no-turn-signal driver who wanted to go right from the left lane, as I properly turned onto the I-10-West on-ramp. I predict there will be many such incidents, maybe even crashes, as we adjust to the new traffic flow pattern. Put your brain in Drive before putting your transmission in Drive.

Get over it

Donald Trump has had four years to produce evidence of election fraud in 2020. With a huge stable of lawyers and enough cash to hire the best detectives in the country, we have yet to see one credible shred of evidence. Sixty lawsuits failed and now he has vowed to use every resource of the DOJ to investigate the big lie for the next four years, which will accomplish nothing. We deserve a president who will focus on the real issues and not a personal vendetta over a bruised ego.

That’s odd

It’s ironic that the very man who is going to ban porn as per his adherence to the 2025 project playbook treated us and the world to his very own pornographic performance at a rally less than a month ago.

Enough already

A gracious winner would take down his Trump campaign sign.

No pardon

President Biden should not pardon Donald Trump. He had his day in court. If he was innocent he should have presented a defense rather than “no coment” or “ I don’t recall” or “I plead the Fifth.”
