No thanks

Alex Baldwin and Sharon Stone live in a make believe world of fantasy and have no clue what reality is. American people are not not arrogant and stupid because they voted for Trump. We don’t need a killer and flasher to tell us how we should vote.

It was bad

I keep reading in this column that we all survived Donald Trump’s first term just fine. Tell that to the families of over one million Americans who died because of Trump’s bungling, non-response to the COVID-19 crisis. He treated it like it was an imposition and took the “stick your head in the sand and maybe it will just go away” approach. His only contribution was to say “hurry up” with the vaccine, and then he crowed about it like he actually did something. The man is a disaster as a president and as a human being.

Sorry, Rudy

It’s sad but comical to see Rudy Giuliani screaming he can’t pay his bills and begging a judge to delay his court date to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration, as if his social calendar is more important.

Election irony

Here are some headlines I saw this week. There are lawsuits and forfeited games against San Jose State because opponents fear injury from a transgender’s volleyball spikes. Democratic leaders are vowing to block upcoming deportations of even illegal immigrant criminals. And, elitists Alec Baldwin and Sharon Stone claim American voters all are blindfolded and got it wrong in the election. Am I the only one to see the irony here?

Paranoia

First, the Democrats sent the hurricanes to Florida to kill Republican voters. Then FEMA never even showed up to help. Now they say FEMA is there, but discriminating against Trump supporters. Painting themselves as victims seems to be the Republican platform, and it’s just a mystery whose influence caused so much paranoia.

Tricked

As one writer put it, the people have spoken. I agree, but the people are clueless about having been the pawns of a con artist extraordinaire.

Big joke

So three of the top four college football teams play in the hilariously named Big Ten. Give me a break.
