USPS failing

We live in Diamondhead and we used to get mail delivered to our home by mid-morning usually by noon. Now, it’s evening when we get mail delivered. Last night the mail was delivered at 7:30 p.m. What’s wrong with this system?

Ridiculous

Why is our president-elect vowing to use all the resources of the DOJ to investigate the proven false claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 election, but not the same for 2024, the most rigged election in the history of our country (his words)? His concern is not for fair elections, it’s for his egomaniacal opinion that “sometimes you win, sometimes you lose” applies only to the rest of us lesser human beings, not King Trump.

Tariffs

If anyone thinks that Donald Trump imposing new tariffs on imports will not make our retail costs rise, think again. As a former small-business owner I can tell you that not only did our prices rise, a lot of our suppliers were unable to continue to import products we sold. Our selection dropped and basically forced us out of business. Look around your house and see where products are made. You will be surprised.

DEI

DEI is a $2 billion dollar industry. All thanks to the Biden-Harris administration. Taxpayers have paved the way by incorporating this into businesses. This is theft.

An earned career

Pam Bondi has earned her positions throughout her career on the basis of her capabilities. Powerful men have elevated Kamala Harris far beyond hers.

Getting old

That tired defense that “they did it, too” is so juvenile. Donald Trump’s cabinet picks are full of greedy capitalists, accused criminals, anti-Constitutionalists and people with no morals. This not the same.

Laughable

Walmart is rolling back its DEI policies. Do we really think they hire based on race? More likely negative drug tests, clean background checks and maybe literacy testing.
