Asleep at the wheel

If Donald Trump is as bad as the Democrats say, then what does it say for them that they had four years to come up with someone to defeat him — and the best they could do was a doddering old man and then a vice president that nobody voted for when they had the chance?

The Gaetz report

The Matt Gaetz investigation and nearly-complete report were paid for by us, the taxpayers. We and our agents, our senators, deserve to see the information. Now.

AG Gaetz?

Dumb as a rock would be a spot-on description of anyone who thinks Matt Gaetz’s two years of practicing law is good enough to be AG of the United States. While stating he will end the weaponization of the DOJ, his true intention is just the opposite, to bring down as many Democrats as possible. Four years of investigating President Biden at the insistence of Marjorie Taylor Greene hasn’t produced diddly squat, but Donald Trump will never give up seeking revenge for the loss his ego can’t accept.

Why Gaetz?

The message I’m getting from Donald Trump’s insistence on Matt Gaetz for Attorney General is Trump can break any laws he wants and Gaetz will happily never investigate

Unequal justice

If you are going to fire soldiers because they don’t have a combat badge, then the president-elect should be fired for lying to avoid the draft.

Neither or both

In his op-ed piece on the presidential election, Emmanuel Cleaver, III, said, “it still shows that Black and white Americans are not on the same page.“ How can we be, when clowns like Cleaver continue to refuse to be colorblind? Either capitalize neither black nor white (preferred), or both. To do otherwise promotes the very racism Cleaver claims to abhor.

Here come the cuts

Donald Trump’s transition team is eyeing cuts to Medicaid and food stamps. Do they know that these are services that many his constituents rely on?
