Shortsighted

A wall? On the beach? The Biloxi wade-in memorial will not survive the first Category 2 hurricane, no matter how deep the concrete goes into the sand. An architect should know better. Put it north of Highway 90.

He’s the boss

Donald Trump is your president. Like it or not, we put up with mumbling President Biden for 4 years and watched while he and Vice President Harris destroyed the country, foreign policy and the military.

New administration

I personally think the new Trump administration is going to pleasantly surprise many of his detractors. His policies are on target for what this country needs and he hopefully will not be ambushed at every move by his opponents, like in his first term. I think he will surprise his previous opponents at his fairness and forgiveness moving forward. Like him or not, he is going to govern fairly but sternly for the best future of this country that’s in disarray and divided.

Is this real?

I woke up after Election Day in a country I don’t even recognize anymore. Ten years ago it would have been impossible for a man to lose an election, convince people that everything about it was fraudulent, entice his radical followers to riot at the Capitol to stay in power in what amounts to a coup (and treason), lie about everything, and then get all that validated by being elected again, three days after a lewd performance with a microphone stand in front of thousands of people.

Yes, Trump won

We aren’t going to storm the Capitol, because we are adults and we have respect for ourselves. Also, it is not necessary to send racist texts. We got the message.

Be better

Melania Trump said she is going to tackle the serious issue of bullying in her next stint as First Lady. A good starting point would be with her husband.

Concerned

Another major storm is brewing in the Gulf. Are you really OK with getting rid of regulations that limits the over drilling of oil and fracking for gas? Think about it.
