Melania Trump is going to be tasked with decorating, I mean supervising the decorating, of the White House for Christmas four more times. Oh, the horror of it all. Grit your teeth, girl, and hang tough, I know you can push your way through.

Senate vote

I know that Sen. McConnell can depend on his RINO surrogate Sen. Wicker for the leadership vote.

Watch your back

Donald Trump is appointing people in positions of power who have talked negatively about him. I guess since he’s alienated so many that there aren’t many qualified loyalists. I wouldn’t give up my day job with his record of firing his staff.

How I voted

Should anyone ask how I voted in 2024, I say I voted for those who supported civility; for integrity, for NATO, for Ukraine, for redistribution of wealth, for women’s rights, for clean air and water, climate change mitigation, for electric cars (even Tesla) and infrastructure, and lastly but not least - I voted for immigrants and democracy. They all lost.

WLOX mistake?

The writer saying WLOX made a huge mistake by firing Mr. Elliott is apparently believing that one person is better than everyone else and should not have to follow the rules. How very Donald Trump-like.

Mirror, mirror

I read where a Republican said Chuck Schumer was a sore loser. It’s only been a week and already an alternate reality has formed.
