Civility, huh?

I have two words for civility in Sunday’s Sound Off wondering what happened to civility and honor in presidential elections: Donald Trump?

Women voting

Women voting lockstep for Vice President Harris just because she is a woman is a prime example of why the founders excluded them from government.

Buckle up

Unfortunately, the groundwork is underway for another Donald Trump civil uprising promotion. He is already telling his supporters how corrupt the election results are before they even come out. So it’s clear he will not accept results of the election regardless of who the official winner is. Sound familiar? Another four years of political gridlock and division.

Garbage?

If half of the country I fought for is garbage, then the other half is Communist.

Stereotypes

What’s with all the sleazy looking “religious leaders” and child pornography? Can’t blame this on immigrants.

Shame about Dave

I’ve watched Dave Elliott for years on WLOX. I was saddened when I heard he had been fired. I looked up his posts on X to see what he said. I read many of his posts and it sickened me the way he spoke about non-Trump supporters and told people not to vote if they support Vice President Harris. As long as he has been a journalist, you would think he would know better. As public figures, journalists are encouraged to maintain a degree of detachment in order to minimize potential biases. WLOX did the right thing by firing him.

The ‘secret’

I would like to know how the person knows the “secret pact” between Donald Trump and Speaker Johnson. Perhaps it is just another rumor heard on one of the Democrat networks.
