Which is it?
Donald Trump used to denounce early voting as fraud used by liberals to rig elections. Now, he supports it. His motto is, if it doesn’t support me, it’s fraud or fake. Makes my head spin just trying to keep up.
Not one-sided
It seems like once a week someone sounds off because they are unhappy with the number of posts that are anti-Donald Trump. It’s like they honestly can’t comprehend why poor persecuted Donald gets so much criticism. I read this column every day and have seen more than a few anti-Democrat/Biden/Harris/lefty/liberal posts, too. Stop accusing Sound Off of being biased, and put the blame where it belongs. Trump provides so much material to work with, and his antics add more fodder daily.
A man’s job
Well, I’m going to be the old male military retiree & self-identified curmudgeon who believes that Vice President Harris would be bad for the country — but any woman would be bad in the position as the leader of the free world. We ain’t Europe.
What if ...
I wonder if those who are ready to crucify Dave Elliot would have the same moral outrage if he supported Vice President Harris.
The messenger
Locals should seriously look at how they receive their news. Gray Television owns WLOX and numerous other small market providers around the country. It is a half-billion dollar NYSE corporation. All affiliates of Gray Television take their messaging instructions from ABC and CBS. One does not have to dig too deeply to understand the political leanings of ABC or CBS. Now the Dave Elliott departure from WLOX should make a lot more sense to those still scratching their heads.
MSG rally
The Trump rally at Madison Square Garden was, hands-down, the most disgusting, vile and vulgar political event I have ever seen in my 65 years. If you don’t feel the same way you are either a woman hating white supremacist or mentally deficient. For Donald Trump not to take the stage and immediately denounce these speakers amounts to condoning this unacceptable behavior.
Reason
A comic strip in Wednesday’s Sun Herald could have been speaking of Donald Trump supporters. “Arguing with someone who has renounced the use of reason,” the lead character says, “is like administering medicine to the dead.”
