Not so cheap

Dirt Cheap is filing for bankruptcy. This chain used to have slightly damaged goods at an affordable price. Lately its merchandise has been comparable with Walmart. At least at Walmart you can easily return items. This proves that if you stop buying overpriced items, the prices will either go down or go out of business.

Bless their heart

I almost feel sorry for liberals. Being so totally consumed by hatred must be exhausting.

Electoral College

People are weighing in on fairness of the Electoral College. I keep seeing the argument that people in big cities would have more say in the elections. Popular vote is one vote for one person. Not sure how that is unfair. But as a democrat in Mississippi my vote for president hasn’t counted in the electoral college since 1976 when Jimmy Carter carried our state. That definitely feels unfair to me.

FOX “News”

FOX News is a proven fake news source. It serves up entertainment disguised as “news.” It is geared to telling right-wing folks what they crave to hear. FOX knows glued-in viewers will not check other news sources for fear of hearing discomforting facts.

Blue state?

In reading the Sound Offs in the Sun Herald, I must be living in a truly blue state. Either the conservatives are mostly silent or the editorial boards are blue in their publications.

Hamas leader

I hope you saw the drone footage of the elimination of the Hamas leader. Israel will not stop until it has the hostages home.

The south

You know your summer has been long and hot when 60° seems cold and 54° feels like its freezing.
