Great cars

Thank you, cruisers, for bringing your marvelous classic cars to our Coast. For a week I’ve been a teenager again, with a goofy grin and a heart full of rock ‘n’ roll. Have fun. Have a safe trip home. And do bring your magic back again next year.

No felons

Hopefully when the disastrous Donald Trump stranglehold is finally behind us for good, Congress will see fit to enact laws that keep a convicted felon from running for office. It’s incomprehensible they don’t exist already.

Ukraine

To the person speaking in Sound Off that is not aware of Ukraine’s corruption, just do a some research on the country.

Religious wars

Religious wars are unstoppable because both sides think God is on their side and they are fighting the devil.

Florida’s governor

Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida is on The Weather Channel looking awkward. Each speaker is praising him first for his support; which is his job. Shouldn’t he be in a war room or something?

Changing stripes

I find it odd that the most liberal politicians suddenly try to look and act conservative close to election time.

Graffiti

I saw the “Patriot Front” graffiti spray-painted under the bridge in Pascagoula, and a friend saw it in Moss Point. I emailed our mayor, Jay Willis, and it was gone within 24 hours. I was so thankful for the quick response. Hopefully the Biolxi mayor will do the same.
