Aftermath
Things I learned from Hurricane Helene. First, if you believe man-made climate changes has no blame, you are delusional. Second, we all need help sometimes; those running away from harm and those harmed due to a catastrophic disaster. Third, if you have no compassion for others, you have either been conditioned to survive alone or you are a sociopath.
Trump visit
Why is former president Trump visiting Hurricane Helene disaster sites? If he was representing FEMA or the Salvation Army that would make perfect sense. What does he have to offer the disaster victims, other than his over-inflated ego? I find it disgusting that he would take advantage of this disaster situation. The logistical coordination of his visit will strain the law enforcement resources that are trying to help disaster victim. This act of narcissism is like his visit at Arlington National Cemetery. Maybe he’ll throw some rolls of paper towels like he did in Puerto Rico for Hurricane Maria.
The border
Vice President Harris claims Donald Trump did nothing to secure the border, knowing he tried to build the wall. Only to see it sold for scrap by the Biden-Harris administration. All for fresh new illegal voters.
Not so bad
I don’t get it. I look around and see lots of people living well; moreover, economic indicators for the US are positive and strong. So what is going on? Are a lot of people upset because they have been gaslit by the Republican attempt to convince them that things are terrible? Of course things aren’t perfect, but I see no reason to think they are nearly as bad as Trump says. I think we need a steady hand on the tiller, not a big change. Things are improving.
Helene
Where is the federal government’s response to Helene’s death and devastation in the south and central states? And what’s with the scant media coverage? Where is the president?
There was a deal
Congress had a bi-partisan bill to address our immigration at the border problem. House Majority Leader Johnson did not bring the bill to vote because Donald Trump told him not to. Now it is Trump’s biggest campaign issue.
Israel
May God bless the Israeli Defense Force which is eradicating terrorism, while the Biden administration allows criminals and terrorists unchecked entry thru our porous southern border.
Overtime
I did some fact-checking, and Donald Trump really did say that he hated to pay overtime to his workers, so he brought other workers in to get the job done. I also read that many union workers now support Trump. Put those two facts together, and I wonder how any worker can still support Trump.
The issues
Vice President Harris has voiced several issues she considers important at all of her campaign stops, including the border, citizens’ rights and safety, and the economy; all of which have shown significant improvement since the previous administration. Donald Trump is just running to stay out of prison.
Please help me
Is there a genius out there who can explain how a 60% tariff on imports will bring in “billions and billions” of dollars?
IVF
In spite of what Vice President Harris’ ads say, Donald Trump has not said he would ban IVF treatments.
Voodoo
Voodoo only works on people who are easily manipulated, such as a person who can’t find their cat blaming someone of eating it, only to realize their cat was in their own basement the whole time.
