They own it
The Biden-Harris Administration owns the last four years lock, stock and barrel. They can’t blame it on Trump or Republicans. They were in the Oval Office and Harris is proud to say she’s always been the last person in the room with the president on all issues and major decisions.
Zelensky trip
The Biden-Harris administration flew President Zelensky to the battleground-state Pennsylvania for a visit to help elect Vice President Harris. This is a impeachable offense. Ask Donald Trump.
Use all methods
Constellation Energy has plans to reopen the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania, which was the sited of a meltdown in 1979. The plant actually operated safely for several years after that but was eventually closed down for economic reasons. Authentic, necessary, efficient and capable energy mechanisms for positive climate considerations should not be based on politics, favoritism or magical thinking. We need a holistic approach that includes wind, solar, nuclear and fossil fuel generation of electricity. Right now, we have 54 nuclear plants in the country. Trying to force the entire nation to EV and alter normal living devices, comfort and safety to achieve 100-percent dependence on electricity by near deadlines like 2027 or even 2037 is ridiculous and unattainable.
Lies
No one has the right to rob someone of their peace of mind. By taking a small, baseless rumor and stating it as cold hard fact and spreading it, Donald Trump and JD Vance have done just that. City officials in Springfield, Ohio, say that they were told the Haitian immigrant story was completely unfounded even before the debate. There is plenty of real evidence of the failure of the Biden administration’s immigration policies without having to embellish or lie about it.
Iran
Your recent story about Iran’s new president was most encouraging. It sounds like he’s truly interested in a peaceful resolution to the Israeli conflict. Maybe all Iranians aren’t monsters. I hope they feel the same about the U.S.
Springfield, Ohio
In a head-spinning turn of events, Donald Trump has, against all odds, spoken a true statement. He recently said that Springfield, Ohio, will never be the same. Exactly right.
Do-nothings
Republicans in Congress have spent two full sessions doing absolutely nothing to make life better for anyone. They don’t have time to legislate because all their work is about what Democrat to try to impeach next, no doubt at the insistence of Donald Trump in his quest for revenge.
