Stick to policy
I heard Nikki Haley say it best today: Donald Trump should stop with the mean little nicknames and personal attacks. Nobody but his forever supporters like that (nonsense). If he were to stick to the critical topics of the economy, immigration, national security, and domestic violence, he’d be leading the polls by double digits. If he loses this election, it will be because of his personality, not policies.
Trust
Donald Trump is refusing intel briefings, because he’ll be accused of leaks is the same as admitting he can’t be trusted.
Health care
Our healthcare here in America (is awful). We have the most expensive health care in the world, and many people have no insurance at all because they cannot afford it. There are 33 developed countries in the world, and 32 have free health care. We are the only country where private companies own and run our health care system.
Focus
Does Donald Trump really want to win in November? It seems his vicious and uncontrollable mouth may prevent that from happening. Why even have advisors if you listen to nothing they say, and are compelled to do just the opposite? He already has his plan in place if he loses for the biggest hissy fit in “the history of this country” and “like nobody’s ever seen before.” This is how he wins even if he loses. A hundred new lawsuits? Another coup attempt? Another deadly riot? Either way, he keeps his name at the top of the news every day, the only thing that really matters to him.
Tax the rich
I agree everyone should pay taxes. Tax the rich, they say. Let’s say we can get $200 billion more a year by squeezing the rich. Sounds great doesn’t it? Then that $200 billion is split between Israel, Ukraine, dealing with illegal immigrants, etc. Not to mention great parties at the White House. It will not go to the working-class people.
The important stuff
So, I see Donald Trump is beating on Gov. Walz for his tampon initiatives in schools. I’m happy to see he’s now focusing on major U.S. policy issues.
Election strategy
What if you ran for president but your policies were so extreme that you dropped out early? What if you were part of a current administration whose economic and immigration policies were very unpopular? Election Strategy 101 says you simply tell voters now what they want to hear. Say what it takes to get elected so you can then do whatever your liberal heart desires.
