Respect the flag
So glad to see Brittney Griner moved to tears with her gold medal and the national anthem playing at the Olympic games. I guess she now realizes what it means to be a proud American citizen, after advocating for the anthem to be canned at all WNBA games. A little thing like being imprisoned by the Russians, due to her own stupid mistake, will do that for you. I’d like to see Collin Kaepernick and many others get the same comeuppance. There are many ways to air your grievances without disrespecting the symbols of the greatest country on earth.
Still president
President Biden admitted he was kicked to the curb by his own party. Why is he still president?
It’s what he does
Doesn’t everyone realize by now that Donald Trump cannot not lie? For him, telling lies is automatic. It is baked into his irresponsible nature. This snake-oil salesman should never again be allowed to soil the dignity of the Resolute Desk.
Got a dream, alright
Donald Trump said, his January 2016 speech “attracted more people than Dr. Martin Luther King’s, ‘I Have a Dream’ speech did.” Anyone with even bad eyesight knew that was a lie. Anyone that stands by someone that can tell simple lies, knows he will lie about bigger things, has to be without any morals.
Not Obama
A few Democrats making statements in support of President Biden’s decision to drop out does not amount to “gushing,” as stated by the “All Obama?” writer. And the last I heard, a former president does not have the power to invoke the 25th Amendment.
Tax cuts
Donald Trump tells his rich donors that he will cut their taxes, which he successfully accomplished during his presidency. We, the working stiffs, did not get a tax cut. I never saw it in my paychecks. We did get stimulus checks, but that was already set up by President Obama.
A child
Instead of trying to educate me on the finer points of how Vice President Kamala Harris “destroyed California,” Donald Trump spends time thinking of cutesy ways to pretend to not know how to spell her name. This is how you dis someone in the second grade.
