Overdevelopment

I agree with the Sound Off on overdevelopment in the Pass. Thanks to the ‘Property Brothers,’ we have unbridled development of ugly institutional-looking short-term rental units. And don’t get me started on the new boardwalk/sea wall.

Shooting gallery

America has become a shooting gallery. And our Congressmen don’t care. But neither do we — we elect them.

True Christians

Donald Trump is calling for Christians to vote for him. A Christian is a person that believes Jesus Christ is the Son of God. A true Christian loves everyone. Donald Trump is evil and hateful. No true Christian will vote for someone that is evil and hateful.

The new Kamala

Now that Vice President Harris has been hand-selected as the new presidential candidate, you can see how today’s polling has “changed” her longstanding political views on the border, energy, policing, Israel, etc. But actions speak louder than words. So ask yourself, can you ignore or forget her early liberal politics?

Disqualified

Yes, Donald Trump did a couple of good things for us, but I’m sorry, once you disregard the will of the voters and attempt to bully your way back into power by seizing the government, you are off the dance card, permanently. If only the Republicans in Congress had found their backbone, we could have stopped talking about this years ago.

Benefits

I paid into Social Security, but always hear about threats to cut it. What I have never ever heard is the government cutting retired government employees retirement cheeks. Never a shortage there. The fox guarding the chicken coop.

Something changed

Donald Trump was a good president until he got COVID and demanded all the experimental treatments at the Naval Hospital.
