Same old thing

At Donald Trump’s rallies, he never talks about politics or policies. He only gets on stage and bullies and lies. He had the nerve to say VP Kamala Harris is lying. He stated that he’s supposed to be nice. He then said he’s not going to be nice. When has he ever been nice? America doesn’t need a full- or part-time bully in the White House. We know someone with common sense and knowledge. He’s too old, just like they said President Joe Biden was too old. He repeats what he says at least three times, because he can think of anything else to say.

What the polls say

Remember those golden rules our parents used to tell us to follow, like be respectful to others, don’t bully others, don’t lie, don’t blame others for your own actions, and be honest? Well, at least 44% of us try to live by those lessons, 6% are undecided, and the other 50% are blaming the 44% and 6% for their own moral failures.

Olympics

My compliments to C Spire for canceling its advertising on the Olympics over the anti-Christian display of the Last Supper. France may have spent billions of dollars preparing for the games, but this is absolutely uncalled for and unacceptable.

The vice president

As Americans, we’ve had some bad candidates run for president. But there’s not any as far left as Kamala Harris. She was a major factor in destroying California, and the U.S. is next.

Ukraine

Vladimir Putin said he’s willing to work with Donald Trump on ending the war in Ukraine. With 100 days until the election, please, a show of hands that think Kamala Harris can negotiate with Russia.

Sen. Wicker

Sen. Wicker’s gigantic sign in front of the old CVS tells me a few things: One, he knows he doesn’t have to campaig. Two, he is too cheap to buy a billboard.

Term limits

I am all-in with term limits for the Supreme Court, but only if term limits are mandated for Congress. While we are adding term limits, there should also be reforms to politicians’ pension packages. Bring them in line with their constituents.
