What nonsense

Donald Trump’s convention speech was actually funny. He is the best “in history” on anything and everything. No one can compete with him. Everybody tells him how great he is. All the world leaders love and respect him. All he has to do is “make a phone call” to solve all of the world’s problems and wars. He promised wonderful things that only he can accomplish. Biden is the worst president “in history.” Trump was the best president “in history.” Everything is either good or bad with no in-between.

Morally bankrupt

The former president could not even get his wife to introduce him at the GOP convention. He is a serial wife-cheater. How can anyone vote for an insurrectionist and convicted felon?

Not a winner

Like Joe Biden’s, Kamala Harris’ poll numbers will tank. The middle class is tired of the failed policies of Democrats. We’re sick of it.

Secret service

Cancel culture has run amok. There is zero justification for throwing out Director Cheatle in the wake of the attempted assassination. Members of Congress, both male and female, are again being bullies in their venue. Cheatle knows the Secret Service and no replacement is going to have her intimacy with the organization. Congresspeople, conduct yourselves like human beings.

Wonder why?

Women in Mississippi have the worst health care, I hear. Not surprised, since men are dictating what happens to their bodies. MAGA — like back when women were second-class citizens.

VP hate

Vice President Kamala Harris, whose only real, constitutional job is to preside over meetings of the House of Representatives, has let her personal anti-Semitic hatred get in the way of her democratically prescribed duties. She’s doing this because the Prime Minister of Israel is going to address the House.

Immigrants

A Sound Off writer sarcastically posts that Republicans are OK with immigrants, if you marry them. Most Americans feel immigrants are welcome when they come here legally. And J.D. Vance’s wife is not an immigrant, having been born in the United States, which made her a U.S. citizen at birth. Liberals and progressives just continue to not stick to the facts.
