Let’s compromise

If you can’t place sidewalks on Victory Street, at least have your mowers clear the easements on both sides of this street. Kids from Gulfport High School need a safe place to walk.

Biloxi councilman

Congratulations to Rodney McGilvary for being elected ward 4 City Councilman for Biloxi. I knew Rodney when he was assistant police chief. He is a good and honest man. I think he will be good for Biloxi.

Missing

Where was Melania Trump during the Republican National Convention? She must know something we need to know about her husband.

Big sentence

New Jersey Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez was found guilty of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and gold bars in exchange for using his post to enrich and protect three businessmen and the Egyptian and Qatari governments. He had over $400,000 in cash and gold stashed all over his house. This is bribery but he shouldn’t be treated as a white-collar criminal at sentencing. It’s also equal to spying, treason and betraying this country for his personal gain, thus his sentence should be long and harsh in prison.

That’s their choice?

During the 2020 election, Vice President Kamala Harris polled at less than one percent and dropped out of the race before the first state primary.

Who’s the threat now?

The Democrat citizens voted for President Joe Biden to be their candidate for president in the next election. Now it seems Joe Biden has been forced out of running. It looks like a new candidate will be selected at the DNC. The citizens of this country who voted in the primaries, your vote does not count. So who is the threat to democracy now?

An interesting exit

President Biden, you suddenly decided to quit the race for president, but you could have done better than catch your party, staff and donors off-guard. That doesn’t square with Democrats telling us how savvy and experienced you are after multi decades in politics.
