COVID is back

COVID is on the rise again. Get tested if you have symptoms. The rapid test is not as accurate as the PCR test. Remember to do basic things, like covering your mouth when coughing and frequent handwashing, especially around older people and the sick.

Allies

NATO and now the EU are not supporting Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine. Yet, Donald Trump continues to praise him. Let that sink in. If you don’t know the abbreviations, look them up. It’ll provide a little lesson in how easy it is to research.

Disney

I didn’t know the Disney heiress is a staunch Democrat. One more reason to go elsewhere.

Decision time

It is quite evident that President Biden will not quit the campaign for president. Now Democrats who want him to step down have to make a decision. Support him or apply Amendment 25, declare him incompetent and give the presidency to Vice President Harris. Then declare the convention open for competition for a presidential candidate. That is a drastic decision but that is how you do it. They need to decide to support him, remove him or shut up.

War zone

Well the news is out: Chicago was more deadly than Ukraine over the Fourth of July weekend. What does that say about crime in American cities?

Don’t do it

In a news story about a recent shark bite in Florida, it was mentioned that Volusia County seems to be the shark attack capital of the world. Hawaii got an honorable mention as second runner up. Oh my, what might the numbers be if we counted the “provoked” attacks? Who are those people that swim off the beach, seek out a good black tip or bullnose candidate and agitate it for a decent bite? Timmy, stop that right now or you’re in big trouble.

Patriotic tree

If you get the opportunity, go see the big beautiful red, white, an blue decorated tree at Popp’s Pizza in Biloxi. You can’t miss it. You can bring a Veteran’s ornament and hang it on the tree. I love this.
