Debate

The presidential “debate” is coming and I’m worried. Republican talking heads are making a grave mistake pointing out how Biden is corrupt, old, feeble minded and will flub the debate. Joe will do just fine. He’ll be rested, medicated and have the ear canal communication device all warmed up.

‘Anywhere’

With his pseudo-bravado, Donald Trump threw down the gauntlet. He said he would debate President Biden “anywhere.” The President accepted the challenge. Now, MAGA-world is boo-hooing because the debate will be on CNN. Guess “anywhere” doesn’t mean “anywhere.”

Dangerous drivers

We totally agree that squatted trucks on any road should be illegal. Saturday, a squatted truck came into our neighborhood, after passing by police at the northeast corner of the mall parking lot, and proceeded down Kenmore. The squatter was about to turn left as another vehicle was going north. The squatter didn’t see the car coming so the other vehicle and myself hit the horn. The squatter flipped us the bird. Sunday morning beer cans could be found in the neighborhood. Don’t get me started on the noisy cars, music and fireworks.

Who’s not fit?

Now that Louisiana has authorized posting the Ten Commandments on the wall, we can all see who is not fit to be president. President Biden follows all Ten Commandments, but Donald Trump has broken at least nine of them repeatedly.

Wrong perpetrator

We women are not afraid of immigrants. We have not been attacked or molested by any immigrants. We have had an increase in domestic violence from husbands and boyfriends. Our reproductive rights have been taken away by male judges and legislators. So, no, they are not our problem.

Debate rigged?

Does anyone actually believe that Donald Trump will get a chance to tell his voter base the truth about the laptop and the checks from China into Sleepy Joe’s bank account?

Career panhandler

If you live in Ocean Springs, chances are you’ve seen that one panhandler who’s been holding court on local corners for the better part of a decade now. If you’ve seen him, you remember him. Here’s the thing. Some quick research on Facebook will show you the kind of person he really is and it’s not at all what it seems. He likes his lifestyle. He chooses his lifestyle and he enjoys local hardworking people to fund it. Simply put, he’s making a fool of the people giving him handouts and he’s making people who are really down on their luck and in need look bad.
