Private schools and profits

Private schools do have higher test scores as well as higher graduation rates, but the difference is slight. Before public schools faced underfunding, it used to be the other way around. Public schools do an amazing job considering the students are not hand-picked as they are in private schools. The problem with most private schools is that they usually have an agenda, such as religion. Public schools have no agendas because they are nonprofit. Healthcare and education should never be for-profit because the profit always outweighs the service to their clients.

Reverse migration

Mexicans with dual citizenship are moving to Mexico because America’s economic system operates on keeping us in debt. He says more Mexicans own their own homes, cars, etc. in Mexico. He says in America everyone is in debt. He’s not wrong.

Defunding the police

I don’t know of any police department that was totally defunded in the U.S., but I do know New York City reduced their budget by $1 billion. Now the governor of New York is sending the National Guard to protect riders on the sub-ways. Tell me, how smart was that?

Not yet

Rebuilding Ukraine at an estimated cost of $1 trillion? It’s way too soon for Ukraine and the world to even consider that prospect. There is a war still in progress and Vladimir Putin is determined to conquer that small country. He doesn’t care if, in the end, only dirt remains. If he’s successful in defeating the Ukrainians, let him rebuild it. If not, the world should make him be a banker for its reconstruction to viability.

Not just words

The moment an immigrant illegally crosses the border and enters America by whatever means and whatever place, even an airport, they are an illegal immigrant as opposed to a legal entrant. Undocumented is a term describing their status and a construct intentionally misused by liberals. First and foremost, they unlawfully entered and are subject to criminal immigration statutes. They are not a newcomer, guest or other benign description that Democrats apply to cloud the truth for political purposes. The Biden administration and Democrats around the country are busily granting them various rights, privileges and benefits extended by law and reserved strictly for U.S. citizens. Democrats want to give them a blanket amnesty in the future. By any measure, in the millions that have entered under Biden are many thousands of career criminals and dangerous individuals but one hundred percent of them begin at illegal, therefore criminal.

Good socialism?

To the advocate of “Good Socialism,” most of the 8-10 million illegally crossing our southern border in the last 3 1/2 years are coming from Socialist/Socialist-leaning countries. Thousands from Venezuela, once the most prosperous South American country and now an economic shambles after the Socialist came into power. Don’t see any from Germany or Japan — economic capitalist societies. Maybe they would point to just one country, Sweden. How much of their paycheck would Americans pony up to have a government control what and when you get for many of your daily needs. Even that one so-called “good” Socialist government has been forced to make non-Socialist significant changes to stay afloat in the last few decades. Don’t see many leaving the U.S. to illegally enter Sweden.

Elections

It’s a shame monetary donations are so influential in our elections. Issues and policies should be the priority, not money.
