Thank you

For years “thank you for your service” has been an expression of thanks to our veterans and active duty. While appreciated, I believe it falls a little short in recognition. It would be more precise and appreciated to say: “Thank you for our freedoms.” That is profound.

New phrase

We don’t need the new term “super fog.” We already have a word that describes “smoke” plus “fog.” It’s called “smog.” Not only that, unlike “super fog,” it’s descriptive. It tells you right in the word that it’s “smoke” plus “fog.”

A reply

This is to things are still OK in Mississippi. If you’re still satisfied with corruption, could care less about the health of your citizens, women’s rights, and being last in nearly everything and routinely being lied to, then we are still OK.

Conservatives

Conservatives say that the Sun Herald prints liberal news more often than conservative news. As far as hard news, do these conservatives consider that maybe the Sun Herald sticks to the facts? As it should. So much conservative “news” is not factual. When conservatives don’t see their latest conspiracy theory from social media in the news, they cry foul. When I speak to these people, usually they have not bothered to fact check their opinions. I have my own theory on why this is so. Nevertheless, this is the problem.

Electric vehicles

Recent reporting from the Wall Street Journal and other sources reveal the EV auto market is slowing, resulting in a rise in inventories and cuts in production by auto makers. Those who could afford an EV and purchased one to park beside their luxury auto for virtue signaling aren’t being replaced by ordinary consumers. That means we can expect the Biden Administration through the use of executive orders, the Commerce and Transportation Departments through regulations and Democrats through bribes (also known as cash incentives) to force Americans to convert to EV.

Make sense?

I’m having a very difficult time understanding people in this country protesting in favor of people who chant “death to America.”

Oil production

I heard on the radio this morning a story by the Wall Street Journal that the U.S. is currently producing more oil than when Donald Trump was president. As many Sound Off writers have pointed out, the present president is not responsible for this. It up the oil produces to decide how much oil they produce.
