Good work
Mary Perez’s comprehensive coverage of ongoing and proposed projects is exciting and encouraging. Great reporting. I do wish she would do some digging and let us know what is happening with the Markham.
Bad promotion
As vice president, Joe Biden was assigned the task of curbing illegal immigration by President Obama. Joe did precisely nothing. As President Biden, he assigned that task to his VP Kamala Harris. In one year she’s done precisely nothing. Two million illegal immigrants have entered our country in the past year, creating chaos at our southern border states and strains on our federal and state systems from justice to health care. Only in America’s Washington political swamp can you be so pathetically inept and bereft of skills or ideas as Biden and Harris and get promoted.
Help needed
Ocean Springs isn’t the only place that has problems with golf carts. Just yesterday there were three private non-street legal carts being driven through the parking lot and up and down the street by Sunkist that were being driven by young kids. They don’t pay attention to traffic and act as if they own the road. If the police would stop one cart, write tickets for all violations, not having a driver’s license, not being street legal and not being licensed by the city of Biloxi and then impounding the cart, these actions would cease for at least the near future. The way these kids drive, it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. City of Biloxi, please do something before that happens.
Story placement?
Awesome action taken by the New York Legislature to get to work and strengthen gun laws. They have already gotten it in front of the governor to sign into law. Why was this article buried on Page 6? It’s important.
Congressional benefits
People should realize when a person has been in Congress for several years he has seniority, which benefits the people in his district.
Who paid?
Can the Sun Herald find out who is paying for the negative TV commercials that deride the opponents of Steven Palazzo that ran on election eve? Who is banking No Show Palazzo?
