Memorial Hospital’s financial records

If Singing River’s financial records are publicly available, why aren’t Memorial Hospital’s records? I challenge you to find any financial information online about Memorial. The only available info is about their foundation. There is nothing about the hospital itself.

Inflation issues

Well, I’m staying home on the weekends now and carpooling to work. I sure miss President Donald Trump. Gas is too high and my retirement is dwindling. I don’t think most Americans are too happy. I see crime and tempers rising. We need a change.

Teacher pay raises

In April, the State Legislature provided a paltry salary increase for teachers and teacher assistants. Since this bill was passed and signed by the governor, I have noticed two issues. A few school districts on the coast are adding work days to the teacher assistant work schedule and several school districts are beginning to hold public meetings to discuss increasing the Ad Valorem taxes on property owners. My thinking is the school districts don’t want to come up with their share unless they raise taxes. It appears that these educators, certified or non-certified, will never fully see a pay increase.

The article say the shooter was 16 years old. Was the weapon recovered? Who did it belong to? If unknown, where did teen get it?

Waste is an issue

I was reared by five children of the Depression; they taught me to reduce and reuse long before recycling. Why are landfills overflowing at a speeding locomotive rate? Waste is no longer a concern for most Americans. If I hand yesterday’s coffee cup to a fast-food cashier to reuse, she tosses it into the trash before I can object and says, “You can have a new one.” Today I watched a young lady go to the fountain to refill her soft drink. She dropped a perfectly good lid and straw into the trash, drew her soda, then selected a new lid and straw. Unbelievable.
