Alternate idea

How about we work on our litter problems instead of blaming road crews? First of all, have a trash bin allowing drive-by access at all businesses that sell take-out food, including gas stations and convenience stores. It’s their waste products that are getting scattered along our roads. On the cans, have a big decal stating a $1,000 litter fine. Can’t pay the fine? Ten days on weekends doing community service picking up litter. It would be cheaper to prevent litter than to pay road crews to pick it up.

Feeling confused

The majority of the Senate and House Republicans support pro life, but not one voted to support the baby formula bill. Say what?

Just waiting

Another day in the Lyman community of Gulfport with a forecast of rain. I sat at home all day waiting for it and now at 6:15 p.m. we haven’t got a single drop.

Too many issues

Our government is not looking out for the American people ... and I am fed up. Inflation, open southern border, spiraling gas and food prices, COVID and now monkeypox. No answers. No plan. Vote these bums out in November.

The liberals

Now the new scare, according to President Biden, is monkeypox. Hard to imagine. We had an outbreak back in 2003, and it was traced back to Gambia and the world did not end. I am left to wonder, with open borders, no vetting of illegal alien entrants to the U.S. and basically very few laws in general being federally enforced, how ever did such a virus get back into our country? Liberals are pulling out all the stops to destroy our nation economically, socially and biogenetically.

One question

Does anyone believe a welfare state with open borders can continue to exist ?

Waiting for plan

Are any Republican candidates going to talk about real issues that affect the citizens, like taxes, health care, climate change, gun violence, etc.? Do they have a plan or is their made up rhetoric about social issues and attacking Democrats their only plan?
