New restaurants

Instead of new restaurants offering a new twist on the same food, how about a Cuban deli or restaurant? And I did see where someone suggested a German restaurant? Let’s get something different down here on the Coast.

Revenge

Cliff Kirkland trial

The victims in the Cliff Kirkland case are true heroes. It took a lot of courage and fortitude for those three girls to testify at trial. They took him off the streets. My hat is off to them and my heart goes out to them.

Misplaced blame

President Joe Biden didn’t fuel the racial divide. It was exacerbated when Barack Obama was elected and those who are afraid that “they” were being replaced. Trump’s rhetoric about dangerous, non-white immigrants furthered this divide. And don’t get me started on Fox News, the mouthpiece of disinformation.

Have a heart

To the Sound Off writer complaining about helicopter noise: there’s a saying all military and their families know. “Pardon our Noise. It’s the Sound of Freedom.” Someone in Ukraine will gladly trade places with you and love to hear those pesky helos.
