I’m 78 years old and I know liver and onions with gravy. The best in the area is at CJ’s Coastal Grill on Lemoyne Blvd. in Biloxi.

Best & worst of times

Certain I have lived the best of times, and now enter the worst. I’m glad I won’t be as affected for my remaining decade or so but the simple and young who ignore and abandon our republic for a fantasy “democracy” will have to long endure what is mistaken for progress.

A waste of taxpayer money

Congress hearings on UFOs is an adulterated waste of my taxpayer money.

Wine drinkers have a right to be upset

I totally agree with writer about the ABC’s lousy management of Mississippi liquor sales. It’s been that way for years and has gotten worse since the pandemic started. What’s embarrassing is that stating that opinion actually offends another person.

Quoting the Bible

The writer asked where in the Bible it says that life begins with the first breath. The scriptures are as follows:

• Genesis 2:7
• Ezekiel 37:5-10

Many today do not accept that there is a living human being when there is DNA, because even a dead human body has DNA. So that may not be a good criterion to use to determine an alive human. One could conclude from this mystery that we really do not know when that life becomes a human being.

Tired of the commercials

Is anyone else besides me sick and tired of seeing that same cell phone service commercial repeat over and over, like every 10 minutes, during evening hours on a local TV station? They have done nothing but convince me to change my cell phone service to a different company.
