Animal cruelty

I see that the accused person charged with animal cruelty in the death Carl the rooster is not cooperating with authorities in identifying her accomplices. Why should she, as she will get a slap on the wrist, a small fine (maybe) and of course no incarceration, and told to go on her way and don’t do it again. What a joke.

Student loan relief

Here’s an idea: Adjust all student loans to no interest interest and apply all interest previously paid to the principal. Link payments to tax refunds and social security benefits. Establish a tax savings incentive for businesses that pay on an employee’s loan.

Student loans and inflation

To the person who believes canceling student loan debt would “spur the economy” by putting more dollars in circulation for buying power: Do you not understand that the raging inflation we are currently experiencing is caused by too many dollars chasing too few goods? The stimulus packages during the pandemic, while well intended, are the root of most of today’s inflation.

‘Live Like Carl’

It says something that so many people have been affected by Carl’s senseless killing. Our motto should be “Live like Carl” because he touched so many lives.

Abortion laws

What if treatment for the mother was against the law if the treatment might kill the fetus? I actually know someone who died from breast cancer while pregnant because she feared harm to the fetus and refused treatment. She made a choice. What would it be like if women didn’t have a choice?
