Not looking

I’m a retired nurse who has seen thousands of naked bodies and private parts. Trust me, no one wants to see your naked body. Besides, we try to cover up as much as possible during bed baths.

Term limits

I seem to remember that Steve Palazzo made a deal about long-term politicians. Hmmm. Now that he’s running again, what happened to that line of thinking? I know it won’t happen anytime soon, but I really wish he’d give someone else the chance to serve. We are overdue for a change.

Inflation names

Fox News lies? Really? What about the liberal news media calling inflation “price growth?” Yeah, normal and sane people call it “inflation.” Liberals think their short-sighted supporters won’t understand what they are saying. Inflation is the worst thing that can happen in the American economy; everyone loses. Fear not because the Democrats will be gone in November. Thank God.

True journalism

True “journalism” died when Obama first ran for president. Sadly, we have come to a point where no one believes any of the so-called “facts” from the mouths of the left leaning mainstream media. Trump has been out of office for years now but the witch hunt continues - fostering a clever distraction for many misguided Americans. President Biden, his puppet masters and his administration are directly responsible for our country’s awful woes, not Trump, Putin or the tooth fairy. They are not looking out for America. If you believe otherwise I still have that bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

One opinion

I know it’s just your opinion, but I sure hope you’re right. I’m tired of the reality TV show mentality dominating politics.

Fishing piers

In response to the Sound Off of April 27 regarding fishing piers: Biloxi has nine piers, a marsh boardwalk, and five boat launches. All but one boat launch sustained damage in the last hurricane. All have been repaired, save three piers. Oak Street South Pier is currently under repairs, and the Popp’s Ferry Causeway Fishing Pavilion repairs should commence with the next couple of weeks. The iconic Biloxi Lighthouse Pier, the most vulnerable, is in the process of redesign to prevent future damages. To date, none have received FEMA funds.

Helping Biden

If Jill Biden were any kind of wife she would step in and tell her husband the truth about his lack of cognitive ability. She wouldn’t allow him to keep embarrassing himself, the country and the world.
