Let’s welcome tourism

I welcome the Cruisin’ The Coast tourists and spectators! They stimulate our economy. Now, let’s do the same for all our visitors. We live in a tourist town, people.

New trash contractor

Since Gulfport has a new trash contractor, we would like to see progress on streets in our neighborhoods. They should ride around and pick up whatever trash they see.

The ‘man bun’

The ‘man bun’ is a ridiculous hairstyle for men that should have long since fallen out of favor.

He deserves it

I am amazed by the In Memory Casket Wrap creations that Casey Lawhon has done for grieving families. What a special talent, and I can only imagine how much this must mean to those families. This young man absolutely should be recognized locally, and I would love to see him recognized on ABC World News David Muir’s Person of the Week. He truly deserves it.

No privacy needed

There are cameras in every building we go in. Why are cameras in hospital rooms a problem? Nurses can monitor patients 24/7 and we should welcome this security. I swear, some people just sit around thinking of things to complain about.

Ready for Cruisin’

Great Cruisin’ article in Sunday’s paper. The only negative was if high gas prices remain high, but the positive wasn’t mentioned. The Coast has the kind of fuel those older classics need, non-ethanol. If you can afford one of those awesome classics, you aren’t too concerned with paying a little more for that good ole 100% gas. Six months to go and counting.
