A cannabis festival on the Mississippi Coast? I am just burning with desire to go. The problem is that unless it’s legalized for all and not just for the medically needy, what good is it?

The uninsured should pay

While I agree big business will benefit from cameras identifying motorists without insurance, it will also benefit those in accidents caused by the uninsured.

Lock up your guns

When a tragedy happens and a child is accidentally shot, people always advise us to go home and hug our kids. I offer that we should first go home and lock our guns, then, by all means, give your kids a great big hug and let them know they are safe because you know how to lock up your guns.

Uninsured motorist cameras

Companies selling uninsured motorist cameras, such as Securix, should not be allowed to make money from fines, but only from the sale of the cameras, maintenance and software. Car manufacturers, firearms manufacturers, handcuff manufacturers and others do not make money from fines each time their products are used in the capture and fining of those who break the law.

The price of gas

In the last few weeks oil prices have fallen over $20 a barrel, but the price at the pump has come down just 15 cents. That’s a little slow, don’t you think?
