Athletic fundraisers

The Biloxi School District gets untold amounts of money from the casinos, yet the football team and cheerleaders are having “fundraisers” asking for donations. No car wash, no bake sale, no work involved. Schools should not be supporting the prevailing notion that there will always be a handout.

Putin is a war criminal

To the reader who does not think Vladimir Putin is a war criminal because no one charged former President Richard Nixon with war crimes when LT William Calley murdered 109 Vietnamese civilians: At a minimum, Putin is guilty of killing Ukrainian civilians because he knew about these murders and did nothing. International investigations might also reveal Putin made targeting Ukrainian civilians a policy for his invading forces. Nixon made sure his Army brought an accused murderer to justice and made it clear his armed forces were to avoid civilian casualties whenever possible. On the other hand, Putin is appointing a general infamous for killing civilians and denying his troops killed civilians rather than investigating or telling his army to avoid civilian casualties.

Big business

Big businesses have more rights and protections than we citizens. Cameras in Ocean Springs were probably financed by them to increase their business. Unfortunately, this is the motivation behind most laws and legislations. “We the People” it is not.

It’s definitely war crimes

The Commander in Chief of any legitimate government, whether attempting a coup or invading another country, is vicariously liable for his actions.
