The sad case of the accused Diamondhead city councilman not showing up for court in Hancock County is yet another example of “good ole boy” politics over there. Alan Moran needs to resign from office.

A dog with a bone

All you whiners about the increase in gas prices are like a dog with a bone. We don’t need to dig, drill or mine the earth and oceans for energy fuel. The supply won’t last past our lifetime, and it is destroying our planet. Hopefully our kids will be smarter.

Gas prices

Just read that a barrel of oil is back down to $96 (pre-crisis price). So, it stands to reason a gallon of gas should simultaneously fall to the same price as it was when a barrel of oil was $96. Otherwise, it’s price gouging.

Inflation

To the people who still blame President Biden for high inflation: Every developed country in the world is now experiencing high inflation. COVID is one cause of inflation because supply can’t meet demand, and that always results in high prices. Another reason is that our economy is booming right now (under Biden), and people are willingly paying higher prices because they want stuff. Corporations are charging higher prices right now and blaming it on inflation because they saw an opportunity to increase their profit.
