Good times?
A beautiful new flag and medical marijuana? Ahoy, Mississippi. Welcome aboard.
The Kardashians
I really cannot understand why the Kardashian women seem to choose men who are thug wannabes in every respect. What is the fascination with Pete Davidson from SNL? He’s not handsome. He typically looks all washed out ... or someone who can’t be bothered to change out of his pandemic, stay at home attire. The men they choose cover every inch with tattoos like they just got out of prison. They are either outsized in their ego, or like Kanye, fragile in their ego compared to a wife like Kim. Can they not find someone with a little class, education, morals and such, instead of narcissism?
Help needed
Is there a place anywhere in Harrison County which sells the Sunday issue of the New York Times?
Do your part
While you are cutting back on your consumption of petroleum products, don’t forget that plastic shopping bags are made from oil. Get a reusable cloth bag and continue to use it even after this crisis is over.
Senator Wicker
Obviously U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker is not a sailor, as he never knows which way the wind is blowing. He would have us in a conflict with Russia that would wreck our stable economy.
Blame Biden
Joe Biden is president. He’s responsible for the inflation and the gas prices, not Putin. Russia is selling its crude oil at a discount. If Trump were president it would dang sure be his fault.
More Trump
If Trump were in office you would be blaming him for high inflation and fuel prices. Wait, you are!.
The Democrats
The resident in the White House is most certainly the reason we have high gas prices and high inflation. And anyone who thinks otherwise is foolish. On day one, he shut down the Keystone pipeline, which would have guaranteed our oil independence, and he disallowed offshore drilling. Gas prices immediately went up, and so did everything else. He’s gone to great lengths to shut down everything President Trump did for this country. And now he’s trying to get us into WWIII, and it looks like he’s going to succeed in that. I’m not surprised. Every war this country has been involved in overseas has had a Democrat at the helm.
Keep believing
To Monday’s “Gas prices” Sound Off: Yes, we do read the rest of the paper and there are conflicting articles refuting your claim that Biden and the Democrats are not to blame for the rising gas prices. I don’t need anyone to explain to me that when the president of the United States clearly states that there is no future for fossil fuels in his administration and then takes very public steps, via executive orders, to implement that ideology that it doesn’t result in higher prices. But, you just keep on believing, every time you fill up on $4 a gallon gas that Biden had nothing to do with this.
