Sound Off for March 15, 2022

One question

Where is Fauci?

Annoying situation

This is a response to the Sound Off entitled “Do your job.” Today’s parents are oblivious to their children’s behavior. I’m eating as I type this and three couples and their kids are disrupting the entire establishment. Little ones are running around, screaming, climbing on seats and tables. When they holler at their parents, instead of a correction, they are rewarded with a response. They are being taught all the wrong lessons.

Getting a job

More and more I have come to realize if you want a good job, it’s “who you know, not what you know.” I just filled out an application that required three regular references as well as four social references. Thank goodness I knew seven people. What if I did not? No job?

Passing blame

I agree with the Sound Off laughing at high gas prices for Democrats is in very poor taste but should be understood to be an individual’s Sound Off and not a group. Biden-flation is a hardship for all Americans and is no laughing matter.

Telling lies

A good question is where does a large portion of the population go when they no longer trust the information provided by the media and the government. Misinformation, bias and lies has now caused us to no longer believe in the very institutions that should represent the people. A agenda that causes the truth not be told should not prevail, and to say it is the truth will continue to cause loss of credibility.

More action

The Biden administration wants to pacify, appease, negotiate and reason with Putin over Ukraine. That’s totally naive’. They should send all kinds of aid and military equipment to Ukraine before it’s too late.

Showing support

I wish the people who voted for Biden and Harris would go out and march and support this administration. They really need it and would appreciate it.

Gas prices

How is it that one person is responsible for the price of gas? Prices began to rise in 2020 with the pandemic. Then the pandemic lessened and demand outpaced supply expanding prices even higher. Next came Putin’s war driving prices even further. Solutions are needed, not blame.

Not me

Please don’t say we all support Biden in this time of crisis. We don’t. I hope his policies fail, he is legitimately removed from office and we somehow become a unified nation of responsible, law abiding, productive, civil individuals.
